A Letter of Condolence

To The Republic of Türkiye,

The Russian Federation extends our deepest condolences to the families of the Turkish Foreign Minister and his esteemed delegation, whose lives were tragically lost in the recent helicopter catastrophic incident. This grievous event has not only robbed the People of Türkiye of its distinguished diplomat but has also inflicted a deep wound on the spirit of international diplomacy and peace.

In these sorrowful times, our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, the government, and the people of Türkiye, as we stand in solidarity with you in mourning.

The Russian Federation reiterates its commitment to fostering stability in the region. We recognize the strong historical ties that bind our peoples with the region. Let us honor the memory of those lost by dedicating ourselves to pursuing mutual respect among nations. 

The Russian Federation calls for a cessation of hostilities so that such tragedies do not recur. 

In this moment of sorrow, let us remember the invaluable contributions of the Turkish Foreign Minister and his delegation, who gave their lives in the pursuit of peace.
