In response to escalating violence, Italy to begin enforcing borders

In response to the violence that has occurred in other European cities, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni today has announced that Italy will begin to enforce border controls for a yet to be determined period. While Italy remains committed to the European Union and its NATO allies, the protection of our borders and citizens is our utmost priority.
