Italy willing to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Lesbos

In remarks to foreign and domestic media, Prime Minister Meloni indicated that her government is willing to provide humanitarian support to the people of Lesbos. "We are very concerned by reports of food and water shortages on the island, and are willing to contribute food and other critically needed supplies in coordination with our allies in the region."
