Joint Turkish-Russian Communiqué Condemning France, Elevating Defense Partnership

From the Press Office of Turkish Foreign Ministry: The Republic of Türkiye and the Russian Federation strongly condemn France's destabilizing role in Eastern and Southeastern Europe and the militarization of the Aegean Sea. Our countries are also committing to elevating our defense partnership to a new level. Türkiye is announcing that it will stop all sales of Bayraktar drones to Ukraine, while Russia will be supplying new batches of S-400 to Türkiye. We will continue working towards a more robust defense relationship to guarantee international peace and security.
