ROK announces its expulsion Bulgarian diplomats

In due diplomatic correspondence, the Republic of Korea regretfully announces that it must expel the diplomatic staff of the Republic of Bulgaria effective immediately.

We are disappointed by Bulgaria, a NATO and EU member, because it did not once consult with the ROK nor its other partners in Europe in enacting a serious decision based on unconfirmed speculations. We urge Bulgaria to seek communication with Seoul.
