Statement Regarding Food and Water on Lesbos

The Republic of Turkey would like to publicly state that there is no limitation, or shortage of, access to food, water, and other critical humanitarian supplies upon the Turkish island of Lesbos. The Republic of Turkey is committed to upholding a high quality of life for all of its citizens, even those who find themselves caught in the midst of a diplomatic and military crisis.

The Republic of Turkey would like to report that following investigation, the reports to the contrary are the result of Greek Ultra-Nationalists who seek to destabilize the region and bring about greater conflict between Greece and Turkey. We urge all nations to resist such disruptive, and misleading narratives, and remain committed to a peaceful, and rightful, resolution of the crisis.
