Turkey Hit By Major Cyberattack

The Telecommunication Authority of Turkey (Bilgi İletişim ve Teknolojileri Kurumu) under the Ministry of Transport and communications suffered a critical failure for eight hours before services were able to be restored. The Telecommunication Authority controls 95% of the market share in Turkey, making this one of the most detrimental cyber incidents in recent Turkish history.
