The Republic of Türkiye in coordination with the international response team, has deployed four ships to assist with the cleanup efforts following an oil spill off the coast of Italy. The Turkish government, in solidarity with Italy, has mobilized these resources to support the environmental cleanup and mitigate the impact of the spill. The ships are equipped with specialized equipment and personnel trained in oil spill response, demonstrating Turkey's firm commitment to international cooperation in addressing environmental disasters and its solidarity with its ally in the region.

The Republic of Türkiye and the Russian Federation strongly condemn France's destabilizing role in Eastern and Southeastern Europe and the militarization of the Aegean Sea.
Our countries are also committing to elevating our defense partnership to a new level. Türkiye is announcing that it will stop all sales of Bayraktar drones to Ukraine, while Russia will be supplying new batches of S-400 to Türkiye. We will continue working towards a more robust defense relationship to guarantee international peace and security.
